I found photos from Linnea's Valentine's Day program last February and that they were perfect for the challenge. I had 4 horizontal photos and 1 vertical....time for a block layout. I loved the layout of the last one I did which you can see here, and since it was for the other daughter I went for it. Here's the final layout:

This is the left side. I paired Chocolate Chip with the pinks and backed the blocks on Very Vanilla. I had lots of retired patterns in these colors, got to love using old to make room for new! I love the pearls on the Greeting Card kid image. In order to make them Rose Red, I put a small amount of Crystal Effects on a paper plate, and dropped in a drop of Rose Red reinker. A paint brush, some drying time and they matched perfectly!
