So Sweet Scrapbook Page

Today I have a scrapbook page to share with you.  Another great challenge site is The Paper Players, and this week they had a color favorite!  I love these colors and I knew I could use the fabulous DSP (Designer Series Paper) from the Sale-a-Bration catalog.  So first here are this weeks colors:

And here is my 12 X 12 page I created:

Don't know how it will fit in a book, but I love it!  I also have to give credit for the sketch I borrowed from the Imaginisce Blog.  I loved it so much I didn't stray much from the design.

Here are a couple of close up shots:

I was out of our textured Soft Suede 12 X12 paper and I thought the non-texture sheet I had looked too naked so I used our Color Spritzer tool, a sponge, and the ink pad itself to give the paper some dimension.  The pattern paper is the Everyday Enchantment DSP, which in my opinion, is the best paper we've had in a long time! I used the set Letter It and stamped Pool Party onto Very Vanilla and then used the "sweet" from Fabulous Phrases with Poppy Parade to create my title. I also used our *NEW* Designer Rosette Die to create the medallion in the corner with two pieces of 2 X 12 Poppy Parade. I love the detail along the edge this die provides.  On top of that I used a retired :( Pool Party button and used some fibers from our Soft Suede 1 1/4" ribbon.

Thanks for stopping and checking my page out!
