Inkspirations Challenge #63

Here is another great layout challenge over at Inkspirations Challenges:

I haven't played around with my Springtime Vintage DSP as much I thought I would, so I decided to use this paper for the challenge.  I searched for a stamp for the center square, but I couldn't find anything I liked so I went to my trusty Fun Flowers Die.  I have used this flower on everything it seems, but I really love the look!  So I had my pieces on my desk and this is what I came up with....

I started by using Rose Red as my card base, layed with Very Vanilla, and then used the DSP to make my blocks.  The Very Vanilla and DSP layer were ran through the Big Shot with the Lattice Folder to give it added texture before being added to the Rose Red. For my center, I took a 3X3 Garden Green Square and used the Scallop Trim Border to punch out the center edge of each side, and then added pearls in each corner.  For the flower, I took 4 flowers and sprayed them with my Stampin' Mist, crumbled them, and then sponged them with Rose Red when they were dried.  I used a Rose Red button from the Springtime Vintage Big Designer Buttons, and then took a strip of Garden Green to use as my "thread."  I played around with a setiment on the front and just didn't love it, so I tucked in my "Easter Wishes" from the Something to Celebrate set on the inside.

Here's a closer look at the flower layers:

Thanks for Stopping By!
