Color Throwdown Baby Boy Card

On my to do list today was to make a baby boy card and then I saw these colors over at Color Throwdown- PERFECT!

I also decided to use my new love since this is the the page I first met eyes on her-my pinwheel die.
Here is my card:

I layered a piece of Tempting Turquoise and So Saffron DSP to make my own double sided paper and then cut the pinwheel pieces.  I added a piece of Pear Pizzazz to the stick and a big button to the center.  I used the matching stamp set for my saying and inked it in Early Espresso.

Can't wait to send it away! Thank you Laura for such a fun new die/stamp set to play with.

  3. Great color combination! I think I'll make this card for my 38 year old son and stamp it with, "You're Never Too Old To Do Goofy Stuff" He's such a sweet man and I love him to pieces .... I think I'll just make his birthday fun, fun, fun! Thanks for the inspiration. Celia
