Colour Q Baby Card

The moment I saw the color challenge over at Colour Q, I just knew I wanted to do a baby card instead of taking inspiration from the cupcakes.  Look at these colors:

I must say that I knew right away the ribbon treatment I wanted to try, however the background was my hang up.  I tried putting a layer on the kraft and I just didn't like it as well.  Crumb Cake (kraft) is my favorite neutral color so I chose just to let it and the ribbon shine.  Here is my card:

For the ribbon, I took 1 1/4" Early Espresso ribbon and layered it with 5/8" Pink Pirouette ribbon (current color, however you will find this in the clearance rack!-new items were added today, click here to check them out), and then layered that with 1/4" Certainly Celery ribbon. I tied a Pink Pirouette button with some hemp twine.  I stamped "Welcome Baby" on a piece of Very Vanilla (I traded for the white) and punched it with my Decorative Label Punch and put a layer of Certainly Celery behind it.

Hope you like!
