Born to Ride

The Color Throwdown challenge had some colors this week that I really wanted to play with, and I think I found the perfect photo for them! Here are the colors:

I kept my page very simple as I have to make two of the same page...two girls, two separate books.  Take a look at what I came up with:

Another color block layout but what can I say, I love this look!  I also got to use some very old stash.  See Dear, I use it!

The page starts with Chocolate Chip 12 X 12, layer with Whisper White.  The upper left block is a piece of retired Riding Hood Red.  On top of that I found some retired corduroy buttons that I tied some White bakers twine with.  The upper right block is a piece of Baja Breeze DSP from the Subtles paper pack.  The lower right block is a piece of retired Pumpkin Pie DSP.

The left and right blocks are separated by a scalloped strip of Chocolate Chip that was cut using the Tasteful Trim die.  These trims cut to a full 12 inches but I cut a bit off from each end.  The upper and lower blocks are separated by a piece of our new Riding Hood Red pleated ribbon.

My title is done using the Timeless Type Sizzlets. I punched a circle from a piece of the Chocolate Chip DSP (neutral pack) to give the 2 something to stand out on.

Thanks as always for stopping by!
